SourceOps Client — monitoring CS 1.6, CS2, Rust and Minecraft servers

CS 1.6 servers and four more games

SourceOps Client tracks Counter-Strike 1.6 servers, CS2, Half-Life, Rust and Minecraft — a Windows list, not another website.

GoldSrc

CS 1.6 servers

Monitor Counter-Strike 1.6 servers: map, IP, players, votes and ping. The CS 1.6 filter shows only those. Join is steam://connect.

Source 2

CS2 servers

The same list for Counter-Strike 2 servers. See who is online and join without hunting for an IP on a site.

GoldSrc

Half-Life servers

Half-Life and GoldSrc servers in a separate filter. Map, players and Steam join, same as CS 1.6.

Steam

Rust servers

Rust servers with online status and steam://connect. Search by name or map without keeping a browser open.

Java

Minecraft servers

Minecraft servers in the same client. You see them in Monitoring; JOIN copies IP:port for the launcher.

The live CLANGAMING.Net forum — the same topics you see inside phpBB.

I chose phpBB 2 because it is a legendary system. I am not looking for another modern forum without character — I want to keep the spirit and atmosphere of authentic nostalgia: classic tables, old icons, the feel of clan forums from the early 2000s.

Why an app, not another website

The idea is not one more web page of server lists. The idea is that monitoring sits next to the game — in Windows, not in a tab you close and forget.

A website disappears when you close the tab. The client is a Windows window: it refreshes itself, can sit in the tray, and for CS, CS2, Half-Life and Rust the Join button launches Steam connect. List ping comes from the SourceOps API. Live A2S from your PC runs when you add a server.
The idea

A control panel next to CS and Minecraft

SourceOps Client is for people who host a server or want to join one now. It works like a normal Windows program: the list refreshes itself (about 60 seconds on screen, 3 minutes when minimized), and if you enable Minimize to Tray, closing hides it in the tray instead of quitting. The site is the storefront. The app is the tool next to the game.

Website
Application
Needs an open tab. Close it and monitoring stops for you.
A Windows window. Optionally stays in the tray and keeps refreshing the list.
JOIN often copies an IP or opens a page.
For CS, CS2, Half-Life and Rust, Join is steam://connect. For Minecraft, JOIN copies IP:port.
Ping is from the website host.
List ping is the same API snapshot. When adding a server, the live test is from your PC.
Browser, extensions, third-party JavaScript on the page.
One native window. Stripe checkout opens in the browser only when you pay.

The file is clean

The installer is built by us and contains only the desktop client. No hidden scripts and no embedded malware.

Clean package

Just the program

The MSI includes one executable: SourceOps Client. No miner, no keylogger, no extra software in the installer.

No payload

No server code in the MSI

No embedded PHP panels, passwords or .env files. The client talks to the public API, live-tests a game server only when you add it, and opens a browser for Stripe checkout.

Verifiable

Verify it yourself

Windows SmartScreen may warn because the package does not yet have a paid Authenticode certificate. That is not a virus. Compare the SHA-256 after download.

What is new in 2.0

The same client, more capabilities.

News

Home and news

The home page shows news from the console. Partners have their own section with their servers.

Boost

Ads and VIP

Spark (24h), Pulse (7 days) and Surge (30 days) advertise in Monitoring. VIP pins the server for 30 days. Payment is in the browser via Stripe.

Safer

Session and a single window

The local session is protected. A security question at registration. The client opens only once — a second click restores the existing window.

What the client does

The same things you see in the app — no marketing invention.

Home page with news, partners and their servers
Spark, Pulse and Surge ads in Monitoring; VIP pin for 30 days
Payment in the browser via Stripe — the client never stores card data
Filters by game, search, favorites and pages
Add a server after a live test — an account is required
Comments, public profile and 200×200 avatar
Optional tray mode and a single instance — no duplicate windows
Automatic hide of a server that has been offline for over 24 hours
Security question at registration and a protected local session

The real interface

Not a mockup — this is the actual client.

Installation

1. Download the MSI

The button above serves the file from sourceops/download. The download counter increases only on a real file download.

2. If SmartScreen stops it

More info → Run anyway. The warning comes from a missing paid certificate, not from malware.

3. Upgrade

If you already have an older version, install 2.0 on top. The MSI upgrades and keeps your profile.
